FAQ
Curious how it works? We know our project is a bit unique.
Here is everything you need to know about the journey from the first snap to the final post.
You don’t find us; we find you! We believe the best stories happen by chance. We travel to different cities, airports, and events looking for authentic souls. Keep an eye on our social media to see which city we are currently “roaming” in.
Absolutely not. The camera is a gift for your story, and the shipping back to us is completely free. We provide you with a pre-paid label or a “cash on delivery” arrangement via FedEx/global couriers.
Life happens! If it’s lost, the story is lost too. If it’s damaged, send it back anyway—we’ll try our best to save the film. Just treat it like a piece of your own history.
itsursnap is a collective storytelling project. By accepting the camera, you agree to share your perspective with the world. We curate the best moments to inspire others.
Of course! Once we develop and scan the film, we will send the high-resolution digital versions to you before they go live. They are your memories, after all.
Yes, seriously! Film needs light. Unless you are in bright direct sunlight, turn that flash on. We’d rather see a bright, happy memory than a dark, grainy mystery!
There’s no strict deadline, but we love momentum! Whether it takes you two days or two weeks, just keep us updated. Once the last frame is snapped, the shipping magic begins.
You own your memories, and we own the project. You give us permission to develop and share the content on itsursnap platforms. We always credit our “directors.”
We curate the story to maintain the aesthetic, but we respect your privacy. If a frame is too personal, just let us know when you ship it back. Communication is key!
We use high-quality 35mm disposable cameras. No settings, no filters—just raw reality and that classic analog soul that digital phones can’t replicate.
